Plantain Chips In-Store Demo

We are seeking friendly, reliable, and sales-focused Brand Ambassadors to represent an exciting non-alcoholic beverage or food product at in-store demonstrations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about snacks and engaging with the public to showcase a heritage snack brand renowned for its delicious, crispy plantain chips.

Locations available at select Publix stores.

The event will run for the entire month of October, with a consistent shift time of 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (4 hours). Compensation is attractive, with pay at $25/hr – $100 per demo.

As a Brand Ambassador, you will be the direct representative of a heritage snack brand. Your responsibilities include setting up an inviting display with your own table and tablecloth, offering product samples, and actively engaging with shoppers. Your primary objective will be to encourage product trial, boost sales, and connect with various customer segments:

• Flavor Explorers: Target younger, adventurous snackers with high energy and excitement, emphasizing the unique taste profile ("You’ve got to try this — totally different from a potato chip!").
• Comfort Cravers: Engage family-oriented, nostalgic shoppers by highlighting the brand's tradition and cultural roots ("These are the OG plantain chips, around since 1963").
• Clean Ingredient Families: Connect with busy parents by emphasizing the product's clean label ("Just plantains, oil, and a pinch of salt — no junk").

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing a short video interview and attending virtual live training.
• Providing your own table and tablecloth (required).
• Wearing a branded hat (provided).
• Arriving on time, setting up an organized demo station, and maintaining its presentation.
• Sampling product, engaging customers, and driving purchases.
• Maintaining communication with the program lead throughout your shift and submitting recap photos.

We are looking for candidates who are outgoing, responsible, and motivated by results. Ideal candidates will have prior demo, sales, or customer service experience. You must be well-spoken, reliable, and professional in a retail environment. The role requires the ability to stand for 4 hours and lift light materials.

This position requires an In-Store Demonstrator.
