Plantain Chips Store Demo

We're seeking friendly, reliable, and sales-focused Brand Ambassadors to represent a heritage snack brand at exciting in-store events. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about snacks, clean ingredients, and engaging with the public, specifically to promote delicious, crispy plantain chips.

This event will take place at select Publix locations throughout the entire month of October. Shifts are scheduled for 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (4 hours). The compensation is $25/hr, totaling $100 per demo.

About the Role:

As a Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of our heritage snack brand. Your responsibilities include setting up an inviting display with your own table and tablecloth, sampling the product, and actively engaging shoppers. Your primary goal is to encourage product trial, boost sales, and connect with three distinct shopper profiles:

• Flavor Explorers: Younger, adventurous snackers – engage with high energy and excitement, highlighting the unique taste experience.
• Comfort Cravers: Family-oriented, nostalgic shoppers – emphasize the brand's tradition and cultural roots.
• Clean Ingredient Families: Busy parents – focus on the clean label and simple, wholesome ingredients.

What You’ll Do:

• Complete a short video interview and attend virtual live training.
• Bring your own table and tablecloth (required).
• Wear a branded hat (provided).
• Arrive on time, set up your demo station, and maintain its organization.
• Sample product, engage customers, and drive purchases.
• Stay in communication with the program lead during your shift and submit recap photos.

• Have prior demo, sales, or customer service experience.
• Are well-spoken, reliable, and professional in-store.
• Can stand for 4 hours and lift light materials.
