Flow Wine Group is a full-service marketing company representing prestigious wine regions, importers, wineries, and craft distillers. We are seeking Part-Time/Occasional Wine Tasting Consultants to join our team.

This role involves conducting engaging tasting events, primarily in partnership with retail stores, as well as restaurants and festivals. As an independently contracted consultant, you will have the flexibility to sign up for events based on your availability. We provide comprehensive training and educational materials to ensure your success in conducting in-store retail promotions and events. Your responsibilities will include educating consumers about the wines and spirits presented, demystifying products, driving sales, and enjoying the learning process.

This is an occasional part-time evening/weekend work opportunity with great pay. Please note: This position is not suitable if you are seeking consistent full-time or part-time employment; work will be offered occasionally as events become available in your area.

Skills Needed:

  • A strong interest in and passion for wine & craft spirits.
  • An outgoing, friendly demeanor and enjoyment of engaging with people.
  • A good understanding of, or willingness to learn about, wine regions, varietals, and the impact of regional characteristics on wine.
  • Punctual, dependable, and polished in appearance.
  • Must possess a smartphone or tablet, reliable internet access, and dependable transportation to carry event setup materials.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of or willingness to learn about wine regions, wine varietals, and how regions affect wine
  • Punctual, dependable, and polished in appearance
  • A smartphone or tablet, internet access and reliable transportation to take your setup materials with you
  • Required alcohol certification - off-premise
