About This Role
Do you have a passion for wine and craft spirits, and are you interested in expanding your knowledge while earning supplemental income? Flow Wine Group, a full-service marketing company representing wine regions, importers, wineries, and craft distillers, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team.
We are looking for part-time/occasional Wine Tasting Consultants to conduct tasting events. This role primarily involves working with retail stores, as well as restaurants and festivals. You will operate as an independently contracted consultant, with the flexibility to sign up for events based on your availability.
Flow Wine Group provides comprehensive training and educational materials to ensure your success in conducting in-store retail promotions and events. Your responsibilities will include educating consumers about the wines and spirits we present, demystifying products, driving sales, and enjoying the learning process.
This position offers occasional part-time evening/weekend work with great pay. Please note: This is not a consistent full-time or part-time role. Work will be scheduled on an occasional basis when events are available in your area.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
- A strong interest in and passion for wine & craft spirits
- Outgoing, friendly, and exceptional communication skills
- A good understanding of, or willingness to learn about, wine regions, varietals, and their influence on wine characteristics
- Punctual, dependable, and polished in appearance
- Access to a smartphone or tablet, internet access, and reliable transportation for event materials
- Required: Alcohol - Certified Alcohol - Off Premise
