This position runs from Thursday, October 23 to Thursday, January 15. The Adult Beverage Brand Ambassador generates excitement, brand awareness, and increases adult beverage product sales through event sampling and promotion. This individual will interact with consumers, clients, and customers, and is responsible for understanding and implementing promotional techniques. This position involves brand promotion, training, product merchandising, and selling products and services. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create brand awareness and positive impressions of the product by engaging consumers through sampling, distributing products, and demonstrating product features.
  • Interact with consumers by sampling/distributing products to create brand awareness and positive impressions.
  • Ensure brand talking points are communicated effectively with consumers.
  • Seek sales opportunities in departments throughout the store and other venues to maximize sales and sales of related attachments.
  • Successfully complete 3 events on a nightly basis.
  • Formulate, develop, and maintain strong communication links with customers.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with key accounts and staff within assigned areas.
Event Set-up and Breakdown:
  • Develop promotional kits for all events through shared storage.
  • Responsible for event set-up, sampling, and program breakdown.
  • Arrive in designated apparel with required items to complete the event.
  • Ensure demonstration area is clean, organized, and correctly set up according to instructions provided.
  • Provide feedback to the Market Manager to improve sales of all brand products.
Personal Development/Training/Reporting:
  • Accurately complete and timely submit HR paperwork and reports online, including call reports, expense reports (if applicable), and training certification quizzes.
  • Participate in mandatory paid online training and conference calls.
  • Attend initial training via online and conference call (specific date still TBD), as well as possible ongoing monthly product training, team meetings, client trainings, etc. (Paid) as a requirement.
Travel and Driving Requirements: Driving is an essential duty or function of this job. Minimum Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must have 1+ year of Brand Ambassador or Bartending experience (On Premise Sampling experience is a plus).
  • Due to the dispensing of alcohol, you must be 21 or older and require Responsible Alcohol Training.
  • Significant experience in event marketing, demonstrations, sales, or retail/grocery is highly desirable.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Reliable means of transportation.
  • Daily access to a PC computer with internet/email access.
  • Must be available to work Wednesday-Sunday evenings.
  • Passion for meeting new people and evangelizing outstanding products.
  • Engaging, outgoing, approachable personality.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively.
