Google Gemini University Set-up

Join the Google Gemini Campus Takeover at the University of North Carolina! We are seeking dependable Labor Staff to support our event by assisting with load-in, load-out, and setup tasks, ensuring the event footprint remains clean and organized.

This is a temporary position for a Set-up/Labor Help role.

Event Details:

• Location: University of North Carolina
• Date: Monday, October 6
• Staff Hours: Support is needed for setup in AM and teardown in PM
• Shift 1 Load In: 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM
• Shift 2 Load Out: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM (TBD until completion)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with load-in and load-out of event assets (monitors, rolling carts, SEG frames, etc.)
• Work directly with Tour Managers to ensure the setup runs smoothly
• Keep the event area organized and safe throughout the day
• Support with moving and lifting items (up to 50 lbs) as needed
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented, and detail-focused approach

Ideal Staff will be:

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Comfortable with physical labor and lifting/moving equipment up to 50 lbs
• Team-focused with a positive, “hands-on” mindset
• Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail
• Ready to support a fast-paced event environment outdoors

Uniform:

• Black/neutral athletic shorts/pants, shirt, and sneakers are required.
• Dress comfortably for working outside.
• No apparel will be provided.

Travel & Transportation:

• Travel and lodging are not provided. We are seeking reliable local talent.
