Before the runners hit the pavement, the energy starts at the Abbott Health & Fitness Expo. Assist Marketing is building an elite promotional team to bring this excitement to life!

For three days, we will transform the expo into a vibrant city-within-a-city, representing the brand's strong presence at this iconic pre-race celebration. Get ready to cheer, connect, and energize the crowd! If you’re outgoing, friendly, and love engaging with people in a high-energy environment, this is your chance to be part of the Chicago Marathon experience—up close and personal!

Location: Abbott Health & Fitness Expo – McCormick Place, West Building (2301 S Martin Luther King Dr, Chicago, IL 60616)

Dates/Times:

• 10/8 (Wed): 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Paid Training Shift)
• 10/9 (Thu): 10:00 AM – 6:15 PM
• 10/10 (Fri): 8:30 AM – 6:15 PM
• 10/11 (Sat): 8:30 AM – 6:15 PM

Your Role – Amplify the Marathon Energy!

• Cheer Sign Station: Help attendees create personalized cheer signs! Replenish supplies, distribute signs, and keep the station fun and festive.
• Cheer Bell Station: Hand out branded bells and ensure the energy stays loud and lively!
• Premium Bag Distribution: Organize and distribute branded drawstring bags from the “Premium Center.”
• Poster & Battle Rattle Station: Hand out custom posters and rattles at the Bank of America Theater to pump up fans!
• Bib Wall Activation: Guide guests as they create and display their “Why I Run” or “I Support” stickers on the Bib Wall.
