Mariano Cooking Demos

Mariano Events is seeking professional Brand Ambassadors for in-store cooking demonstrations, showcasing a variety of products. This is an exciting opportunity for friendly, outgoing individuals to engage consumers and drive sales.

This position involves 3-4 hour demonstrations on weekends, with a competitive pay rate of $28/hr.

We are looking for individuals who are professional, well-spoken, reliable, self-motivated, and possess excellent verbal communication skills. Brand Ambassadors must have the ability to generate brand sales through enthusiastic consumer engagement. To ensure your success, participation in our online training and product education is required.

Required Experience/Skills:

• Must be outgoing, professional, reliable, and motivated.
• Must be comfortable talking to consumers, speaking in front of crowds, and interacting with clients.
• 1-2 years of promotional and/or tradeshow experience.
• Must have reliable transportation to events.
• Must be able to lift 35lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Arrive on time to all events.
• Retain brand knowledge through training calls and presentations, and intelligently communicate key message points to consumers.
• Attract, interact with, and encourage consumers to participate in demonstrations.
• Direct consumers to the various products being sampled.
• Distribute premiums and maintain an accurate inventory of sampled products.
• Collect feedback from every target consumer sampling the product.
• Set up, maintain, and break down the event space.
• Possess knowledge of standard food safety rules and maintain the cleanliness of the event area.
• Communicate with your Supervisor/Manager regarding all urgent matters during the event.
• Must adhere to the uniform policy.
