About This Role
We are seeking passionate, reliable, energetic, and experienced In-Store Demo Representatives to prepare, cook, and sample a variety of food products at wholesale restaurant supply stores across the country.
This is an opportunity for a W2 Employee with pay based on location. The program runs from March 2025 - ongoing, with demos scheduled Monday - Friday (no weekends). Each demo is 4 hours in duration, with shifts available from 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
You will work on a regularly recurring schedule, completing 1-6 demos per week, always at the same location. There is also an opportunity for double shifts.
Our client is a well-known restaurant supply company catering to professionals in the food service industry. As an In-Store Representative, you will introduce customers to new products and brands through cooking and non-cooking demonstrations. Your role will also focus on merchandising, building customer relationships, gathering feedback, and driving sales.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up and maintain an appealing demo station within the store.
- Prepare and distribute samples of food products to highlight product offerings. Cooking skills are required for this task. Examples of dishes you may prepare include:
- Deep frying chicken tenders
- Searing fish filets
- Burgers/Hot Sandwiches
- Smoothies
- And more!
- Engage with consumers to educate them on the featured products, benefits, and ingredients, actively selling promoted products utilizing strong sales techniques.
- Comfortably discuss product suitability and application in professional kitchens with restaurant owners and chefs.
- Gather feedback from consumers and communicate it effectively to the appropriate teams.
