About This Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and community-focused individuals for a statewide outreach tour across Georgia. This initiative focuses on community engagement, education, and access to vital resources during the upcoming enrollment season. Events will range from large-scale activations to smaller local pop-ups, all designed to support families and individuals throughout Georgia.
Positions Available:
- Bilingual Brand Ambassadors (English/Spanish)
- Community Outreach Specialists
- Event Setup/Breakdown Support
Responsibilities:
- Set up and break down event infrastructure, including tents, signage, tables, chairs, and games.
- Engage with community members in a welcoming and informative manner.
- Distribute promotional materials and branded giveaways.
- Provide accurate information and assist attendees with enrollment-related questions.
- Support with light food & beverage service (coffee/tea trucks at select events).
- Maintain a clean, organized event space and manage foot traffic efficiently.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a significant plus for many locations.
- Prior experience in outreach, healthcare, nonprofit, or tabling is strongly preferred.
- Ability to confidently and kindly guide attendees through provided information.
- A friendly, professional, and proactive attitude.
- Must be 18+ and able to pass a background check.
- Safe Serve or Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are required.
Event Locations:
Events will take place across Georgia, including but not limited to: Lowndes, Houston, Forsyth, Camden, Colquitt, Elbert, Worth, Hall, Gwinnett, Bartow, Dekalb, Fulton.
Flexible Scheduling & Team Building:
While there will be at least 25 events from late September through December, you are not expected to work every event. We are building a team of staff members who will rotate coverage across the calendar. Whether you're available for a few dates or many, we encourage you to apply!
