About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Brand Ambassadors to champion our heritage snack brand during in-store events at select Publix locations. This role offers a unique opportunity to represent the delightful, crispy Plantain Chips, known for their exceptional flavor and clean ingredients.
Event Details:
- Date: All Sundays in October
- Shift: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (4 hours)
- Compensation: $25 per hour
As a Brand Ambassador, you will set up an inviting display at your demo table, sample products, and interact directly with shoppers, encouraging them to try our delicious plantain chips. Your ability to connect with consumers will drive product trial and increase sales. Key shopper types include:
1. Flavor Explorers: Engaging younger snackers with high energy.
2. Comfort Cravers: Communicating tradition and cultural heritage to family-oriented shoppers.
3. Clean Ingredient Families: Highlighting our clean label to busy parents.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will be outgoing, responsible, and driven to achieve results. Prior experience in demos, sales, or customer service is preferred, alongside reliability, professionalism, and the ability to stand for four hours. You must provide your own table and tablecloth. A branded hat will be provided for uniformity.

Responsibilities
- • Complete a short video interview and attend virtual training
- • Set up the demo station and keep it organized
- • Sample products and engage customers
- • Drive purchases and encourage product trial
- • Communicate with the program lead and send recap photos during the shift
