In-Store Food Sampling Demo

We are seeking passionate, reliable, energetic, and experienced In-Store Demo Representatives to conduct engaging food demonstrations at wholesale restaurant supply stores nationwide. This role involves preparing, cooking, and sampling a variety of food products, building customer relationships, and driving sales.

Our client is a well-known restaurant supply company that caters to professionals in the food service industry. As an In-Store Representative, you will introduce customers to new products and brands through cooking and non-cooking demonstrations. Key activities include merchandising, fostering customer relationships, gathering valuable feedback, and driving product sales.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain an appealing demonstration station within the store.
• Prepare and distribute samples of food products to highlight offerings. Cooking skills are required for this task. Examples of dishes you may prepare include:
• Deep frying chicken tenders
• Searing fish filets
• Burgers/Hot Sandwiches
• Smoothies
• And more!
• Engage with consumers, educating them on featured products, benefits, and ingredients, and actively selling promoted products using strong sales techniques.
• Comfortably discuss product suitability and application in professional kitchens with restaurant owners and chefs.
• Gather feedback from consumers and effectively communicate it to the appropriate teams.

Requirements:

Compensation:

• PAY: Based on location
• Paid as a W2 Employee

Schedule:

• DATES: March, 2025 - Ongoing
• DAYS: Monday - Friday demos (No weekends)
• DURATION: 4-hour demos
• SHIFT TIMES:
• 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
• 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
• DETAILS:
• 1-6 demos per week on a weekly basis
• No weekends!
• Opportunity for double shifts
• This is a regularly occurring schedule!
• Same location for every shift
