Plantain Chips In-Store Demo

We are seeking friendly, reliable, and sales-focused Brand Ambassadors to support an exciting in-store event at select Publix locations, focusing on a Non-alcoholic Beverage or Food promotion for Plantain Chips.

This is a great opportunity to represent a heritage snack brand known for its delicious, crispy plantain chips. If you are passionate about snacks, clean ingredients, and love engaging with people, we encourage you to apply.

Event Date: Entire month of October
Shift Time: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (4 hours)
Pay: $25/hr – $100 per demo

About the Role:

As a Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of a heritage snack brand. You will set up your own table and tablecloth to create an inviting display, sample products, and engage shoppers. Your primary goal is to encourage product trial, boost sales, and connect with key shopper demographics:

• Flavor Explorers: Appeal to younger, adventurous snackers with high energy and excitement, emphasizing the unique taste profile ("You’ve got to try this — totally different from a potato chip!").
• Comfort Cravers: Engage family-oriented, nostalgic shoppers by highlighting the brand's tradition and cultural roots ("These are the OG plantain chips, around since 1963").
• Clean Ingredient Families: Inform busy parents about the product's clean label ("Just plantains, oil, and a pinch of salt — no junk").

What You’ll Do:

• Complete a short video interview and attend virtual live training.
• Bring your own table and tablecloth (required).
• Wear a branded hat (provided).
• Arrive on time, set up your demo station, and maintain its organization.
• Sample product, engage customers, and drive purchases.
• Stay in touch with the program lead during your shift and send recap photos.

• Are outgoing, responsible, and motivated by results.
• Have prior demo, sales, or customer service experience.
• Are well-spoken, reliable, and professional in-store.
• Can stand for 4 hours and lift light materials.

This is a Required Brand Ambassador position for a fun and high-impact in-store event.
