Military Wine Tasting Event

We are seeking energetic, outgoing, and responsible individuals for in-store wine, spirits, and beer tasting events. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the beverage industry, eager to learn about diverse products, and skilled at engaging customers. Most importantly, we are looking for individuals with a strong desire to SELL PRODUCT!

This is a contract position (1099) with an hourly rate of $30 per hour. Each demonstration is 3 hours in duration. Candidates must be 21 years old and have previous experience in promotional or sales roles. Additionally, a MILITARY ID is required for access to The Main Exchange.

Responsibilities include:

• Being on time and reliable for all scheduled events.
• Setting up sampling stations, offering product samples, interacting with customers, and efficiently tearing down after events.
• Engaging with customers to gather feedback on products.
• Providing 0.5 oz. samples of products to store customers.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with store personnel.
• Completing an event recap form within 48 hours of each demonstration.
• Submitting a photo of yourself with your sampling table along with the recap form.
• Maintaining an impeccable professional presentation at all times, as you will be representing the company, brand, store, supplier, and distributor.
• Maintaining up-to-date brand, product, and industry knowledge to thoughtfully respond to customer inquiries.

What you will need to bring for each event:

• A folding table
• A black tablecloth (no plastic)
• An ice bucket
• Sample cups
• A wine opener
• Professional attire
• Reliable transportation

Required skills and qualifications:

• Fully speak and understand English
• Experience in alcohol sales or promotions (off-premise)
• Valid Driver's License
