In-Store Food Sampling Demo

We are seeking passionate, reliable, and energetic In-Store Demo Representatives to conduct food sampling and demonstrations at wholesale restaurant supply stores across the country.

This role involves preparing, cooking, and sampling a variety of food products to engage customers and drive sales. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for consistent work with a set schedule.

PAY: $27.50 / HR
*Paid as a W2 Employee

DATES: April 2024 - Ongoing

DAYS: Monday - Friday (No weekends!)

DURATION: 4-hour demos

SHIFT TIMES:

• 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
• 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

DETAILS:

• 4-6 demos per week on a weekly basis
• Opportunity for double shifts
• Regularly recurring schedule at the same location for every shift
• Must be comfortable pushing or lifting up to 50 lbs

LOCATION: Fresno, CA

Our client is a well-known restaurant supply company catering to professionals in the food service industry. As an In-Store Representative, you will introduce customers to new products and brands through cooking and non-cooking demonstrations. Key responsibilities also include merchandising, building customer relationships, gathering feedback, and driving sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and maintain an appealing demo station within the store.
• Prepare and distribute samples of food products; cooking skills are required for this task.
• Engage with consumers to educate them on featured products, benefits, and ingredients, actively selling promoted products utilizing strong sales techniques.
• Comfortably discuss product suitability and application in professional kitchens with restaurant owners and chefs.
• Gather and effectively communicate consumer feedback to appropriate teams.
• Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking demo supplies.
• Collaborate with store personnel to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Keep meticulous tracking of sales data and metrics during demos.
• Take photos of demo setups and products for promotional purposes.
• Pay close attention to detail to ensure accurate reporting on customer feedback and sales performance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have Food Handlers Certification/ServSafe Certification (or the ability to obtain one upon hiring).
