Event Driving and Delivery Support

EventNext is actively seeking a reliable and safety-focused Chauffeur or CDL Driver to contribute to upcoming events across Connecticut. This position is crucial for the seamless transport of event materials, equipment, and supplies, alongside providing essential support for loading and unloading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles, requiring a valid Chauffeur's or CDL license.
• Transport event assets, equipment, and materials efficiently between warehouses and diverse event sites.
• Assist proficiently with the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring the meticulous handling of all assets.
• Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain optimal safety and performance.
• Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with the event logistics team, providing timely updates on schedules and deliveries.
• Offer support for additional logistics tasks as required to ensure event success.

Qualifications:

• Possession of a valid CDL (Class A or B) license OR a valid Chauffeur's license.
• A clean driving record and a current medical card are mandatory.
• Previous professional driving experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and actively assist with loading/unloading tasks.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to safety compliance.
• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to dynamic scheduling changes.
• Must fully speak and understand English.
