Plantain Chips Store Demo

We are seeking friendly, reliable, and sales-focused Brand Ambassadors to support an exciting in-store event at select Publix locations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about snacks and clean ingredients to represent a heritage snack brand known for its delicious, crispy plantain chips.

Available Locations:

• Event Date: Entire month of October
• Shift Time: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (4 hours)
• Pay: $25/hr – $100 per demo

As a Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of a heritage snack brand, responsible for setting up an inviting display with your own table and tablecloth. Your primary role will be to sample products, engage shoppers, encourage trials, and drive sales. You will connect with three key types of shoppers, adapting your approach to each:

• Flavor Explorers: Engage younger, adventurous snackers with high energy and excitement, emphasizing the unique taste profile ("You've got to try this — totally different from a potato chip!").
• Comfort Cravers: Connect with family-oriented, nostalgic shoppers by highlighting the brand's tradition and cultural roots ("These are the OG plantain chips, around since 1963").
• Clean Ingredient Families: Inform busy parents about the clean label and simple ingredients ("Just plantains, oil, and a pinch of salt — no junk").

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete a brief video interview and attend virtual live training.
• Bring your own table and tablecloth (required).
• Wear a branded hat (provided).
• Arrive on time, set up your demo station, and maintain organization.
• Sample products, engage customers, and drive purchases.
• Communicate with the program lead during your shift and submit recap photos.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Outgoing, responsible, and results-motivated.
• Possesses prior demo, sales, or customer service experience.
• Well-spoken, reliable, and professional in a retail environment.
• Able to stand for 4 hours and lift light materials.

This is a an In-Store Demonstrator position.
