About This Role
We are seeking an attentive Event Waitstaff & Team Lead and two dedicated Event Waitstaff to assist with a private wedding reception on November 23, 2025. This outdoor event will be held at a private residence in La Palma, CA (7112 Caprice Circle) and will host approximately 80 guests. The shift is scheduled from 3:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide professional service throughout the event.
- Maintain a tidy venue by clearing tables, removing trash, and collecting used plates and glassware.
- Bus tables and rinse plates and silverware in the kitchen area.
- Serve a variety of hors d'oeuvres and assist with buffet dinner service.
- Serve beverages including water, lemonade, iced tea, beer, wine, and champagne (no cocktails).
- Serve and cut the wedding cake, and offer coffee service to guests.
- Monitor and replenish three beverage containers and two ice buckets as needed.
- Support general party area maintenance and assist the hosts with various tasks to ensure a smooth event.
Dress code requires a black button-down shirt and black slacks. All team members must arrive on time and be prepared to work outdoors for the entire duration of the shift.
Parking: Please note that this is a cul-de-sac with limited parking. Team members are requested to park on Branford Street and walk to the residence at the end of the cul-de-sac.
