About This Role
We are seeking one professional server for a wedding reception at a private residence backyard in La Palma, CA. This role involves comprehensive support to ensure a seamless and enjoyable event for guests.
Key responsibilities include set-up and breakdown of the reception area, clearing tables and general clean-up, bussing dishes, and rinsing plates and silverware. You will be responsible for serving plated food, cutting and serving wedding cake and coffee, and replenishing three drink containers and two ice buckets throughout the event. Additionally, you will serve a variety of beverages (water, lemonade, iced tea, beer, wine, and champagne – no cocktails) and ensure all tables remain tidy.
The event features 10 tables of 8 guests. Guests are expected to arrive around 3:30 PM, following the wedding ceremony in Long Beach. Your shift will begin at 3:30 PM, and we require your presence for the full duration of the event.
Location-specific details: Parking is limited on the cul-de-sac; please park on Branford Street and walk to the residence. The event is outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather. No unleashed pets will be on site.
