About This Role
We are seeking friendly Brand Ambassadors to represent a heritage snack brand known for its delicious, crispy plantain chips. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with shoppers at select Publix locations, promoting a non-alcoholic beverage or food product. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about snacks, clean ingredients, and enjoy interacting with the public.
You will be the face of the brand, responsible for setting up an inviting demonstration station, sampling the product, and engaging with shoppers to encourage trial and boost sales. You will connect with three key types of shoppers, adapting your approach to each:
- Flavor Explorers: Younger, adventurous snackers – bring high energy and excitement.
- Comfort Cravers: Family-oriented, nostalgic shoppers – highlight tradition and cultural roots.
- Clean Ingredient Families: Busy parents – emphasize the clean label and simple ingredients.
The event is scheduled for the entire month of October, with a consistent shift time of 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (4 hours). The pay is $25/hr – $100 per demo.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing a short video interview and attending virtual live training.
- Bringing your own table and tablecloth (required) for the demo display.
- Wearing a branded hat (provided) during your shift.
- Arriving on time, setting up, and maintaining an organized demo station.
- Sampling the product, engaging customers, and driving purchases.
- Staying in touch with the program lead and sending recap photos.
We are looking for individuals who are outgoing, responsible, and motivated by results. Ideal candidates will have prior demo, sales, or customer service experience, be well-spoken, reliable, and professional. The role also requires the ability to stand for 4 hours and lift light materials.
