Plantain Chips Store Demo

We're seeking friendly, reliable, and sales-focused Brand Ambassadors to represent an exciting non-alcoholic beverage or food product at in-store demonstrations. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about snacks, clean ingredients, and engaging with the public. You will be the face of a heritage snack brand renowned for its delicious, crispy plantain chips.

This in-store event will take place at select Publix locations throughout the entire month of October. Shifts are scheduled for 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (4 hours). The compensation is $25/hr, totaling $100 per demo.

As a Brand Ambassador, you will be responsible for setting up an inviting display with your own table and tablecloth, sampling products, and engaging with shoppers. Your primary goal is to encourage product trial, boost sales, and connect with three distinct shopper profiles:

• Flavor Explorers: Attract younger, adventurous snackers with high energy and excitement, highlighting the unique taste experience.
• Comfort Cravers: Engage family-oriented, nostalgic shoppers by emphasizing the brand's tradition and cultural roots.
• Clean Ingredient Families: Appeal to busy parents by underscoring the product's clean label and simple ingredients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing a brief video interview and attending virtual live training.
• Providing your own table and tablecloth for the demo station.
• Wearing a provided branded hat.
• Arriving punctually, setting up an organized demo station, and maintaining its presentation.
• Effectively sampling the product, engaging customers, and driving purchases.
• Maintaining communication with the program lead throughout your shift and submitting recap photos.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be outgoing, responsible, and results-driven.
• Possess prior experience in demos, sales, or customer service.
• Be well-spoken, reliable, and professional in a retail environment.
• Be able to stand for 4 hours and lift light materials.
