About This Role
We're seeking friendly, reliable, and sales-focused Brand Ambassadors to represent a heritage snack brand at exciting in-store events. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about snacks, clean ingredients, and engaging with the public, specifically to promote delicious, crispy plantain chips.
This event will take place throughout the entire month of October, with shifts scheduled from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (4 hours). The pay is $25/hr – $100 per demo. Opportunities are available at select Publix locations.
As a Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of the brand. Your responsibilities include setting up an inviting display with your own table and tablecloth (required), sampling the product, and engaging with shoppers to encourage trial and boost sales. You will connect with three key shopper types:
- Flavor Explorers: Younger, adventurous snackers who appreciate high energy and excitement.
- Comfort Cravers: Family-oriented, nostalgic shoppers who respond to tradition and cultural roots.
- Clean Ingredient Families: Busy parents interested in clean labels and wholesome options.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing a short video interview and attending virtual live training.
- Wearing a provided branded hat.
- Arriving on time, setting up, and maintaining an organized demo station.
- Sampling product, engaging customers, and driving purchases.
- Maintaining communication with the program lead and sending recap photos during your shift.
We are looking for individuals who are outgoing, responsible, and motivated by results. Ideal candidates will have prior demo, sales, or customer service experience. You should be well-spoken, reliable, and maintain a professional demeanor in-store. The role requires the ability to stand for 4 hours and lift light materials.
