Plantain Chips Store Demo

We're seeking friendly, reliable, and sales-focused Brand Ambassadors to represent a heritage snack brand at exciting in-store events. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about snacks, clean ingredients, and engaging with the public, specifically to promote delicious, crispy plantain chips.

This event will be held at select Publix locations throughout the entire month of October. Shifts are scheduled for 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (4 hours). The compensation for this role is $25/hr – $100 per demo.

As a Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of a beloved snack brand. Your responsibilities include setting up an inviting demo station with your own table and tablecloth, sampling the product, and engaging with shoppers. The primary goal is to encourage product trial, boost sales, and connect with various customer segments:

• Flavor Explorers: Engage younger, adventurous snackers with high energy and excitement ("You’ve got to try this — totally different from a potato chip!").
• Comfort Cravers: Connect with family-oriented, nostalgic shoppers by highlighting tradition and cultural roots ("These are the OG plantain chips, around since 1963").
• Clean Ingredient Families: Emphasize the clean label to busy parents ("Just plantains, oil, and a pinch of salt — no junk").

Key responsibilities include:

• Completing a short video interview and attending virtual live training.
• Bringing your own table and tablecloth (required).
• Wearing a branded hat (provided).
• Arriving on time, setting up, and maintaining an organized demo station.
• Sampling product, actively engaging customers, and driving purchases.
• Staying in communication with the program lead during your shift and submitting recap photos.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be outgoing, responsible, and motivated by results.
• Possess prior demo, sales, or customer service experience.
• Be well-spoken, reliable, and professional in a retail environment.
• Be able to stand for 4 hours and lift light materials.

This is a Required In Store Demonstrator position.
