About This Role
We are seeking passionate, reliable, energetic, and experienced In-Store Demo Representatives to represent a well-known restaurant supply company. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and sampling a variety of food products at wholesale restaurant supply stores nationwide. This role involves introducing customers to new products and brands through cooking and non-cooking demonstrations, merchandising, building customer relationships, gathering feedback, and driving sales.
Pay: Based on location. Paid as a W2 Employee.
Dates: March 2025 - Ongoing
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday demos (No weekends!)
- 1-6 demos per week on a weekly basis
- Opportunity for double shifts
- Regularly recurring schedule
- Same location for every shift
Duration: 4-hour demos
Shift Times:
- 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain an appealing demo station within the store.
- Prepare and distribute samples of food products to highlight product offerings. Cooking skills are required for this task. Examples of dishes you may prepare include:
- Deep frying chicken tenders
- Searing fish filets
- Burgers/Hot Sandwiches
- Smoothies
- And more!
- Engage with consumers to educate them on featured products, benefits, and ingredients, actively selling promoted products utilizing strong sales techniques.
- Comfortably discuss product suitability and application in professional kitchens with restaurant owners and chefs.
- Gather feedback from consumers and communicate it effectively to the appropriate teams.
