About This Role
Mariano Events is seeking professional Brand Ambassadors for in-store demonstrations of a variety of products. We are looking for friendly, outgoing individuals for events, promotions, and in-store demonstrations. Candidates must be professional, well-spoken, reliable, self-motivated, and possess excellent verbal skills.
This position involves 3-4 hour demonstrations, primarily on weekends, with a pay rate of $28/hour. Brand Ambassadors must have the ability to generate brand sales through consumer engagement. To ensure success, participation in our online training and product education is required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Arrive on time to events.
- Retain brand knowledge via training calls and presentations and communicate key message points intelligently to consumers.
- Attract, interact, and encourage consumers to participate.
- Direct consumers to the various products being sampled.
- Distribute premiums and maintain an accurate inventory of sampled products.
- Collect feedback from every target consumer sampling the product.
- Set up, maintain, and break down the event space.
- Possess knowledge of standard food safety rules and maintain the cleanliness of the event area.
- Communicate with Supervisor/Manager regarding all urgent matters during the event.
- Adhere to the uniform policy.
Required Experience/Skills:
- Must be outgoing, professional, reliable, and motivated.
- Must be comfortable talking to consumers, speaking in front of crowds, and interacting with clients.
- 1-2 years of promotional and/or tradeshow experience.
- Must have a reliable form of transportation to the event.
- Must be able to lift 35lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
