About the Role
As a Tour Manager, you will serve as the face of GMR and our client, leading a nationwide mobile sampling tour throughout Canada. Your primary responsibilities will include driving a refrigerated box truck (Class 3 license required), overseeing local staff, managing event operations, and engaging directly with consumers to deliver memorable experiences. You will be working hands-on in a fast-paced, travel-heavy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the on-site lead and primary point of contact for events, retailers, and consumers.
- Drive a Class 3 vehicle and manage all logistics for events across Canada.
- Confirm event details such as location, timing, prizes/promotions, and security arrangements.
- Supervise local Brand Ambassadors, providing on-site coaching and oversight.
- Prepare, serve, and maintain the quality of product samples.
- Set up, tear down, and transport event materials and assets.
- Track attendance, complete recaps, and submit photos/videos along with expense reports.
- Represent our client positively, maintaining a high-energy and professional demeanor.

Requirements
- • Must be 21 years or older
- • Valid Class 3 driver’s license (Canada) with a clean driving record
- • Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written)
- • 5+ years experience in promotions, events, or tours
- • Previous experience managing Brand Ambassadors or field teams
- • Food prep/handling experience preferred
- • Comfortable driving long distances and working non-traditional hours
