About This Role
We are seeking passionate, reliable, energetic, and experienced In-Store Demo Representatives to prepare, cook, and sample a variety of food products at wholesale restaurant supply stores nationwide. This role involves engaging with culinary professionals and driving sales through impactful demonstrations.
Our client is a well-known restaurant supply company catering to professionals in the food service industry. As an In-Store Representative, you will introduce customers to new products and brands through cooking and non-cooking demonstrations. Key responsibilities include merchandising, building strong customer relationships, gathering valuable feedback, and ultimately driving sales.
Pay: Based on location (Paid as a W2 Employee)
Dates: March, 2025 - Ongoing
Days: Monday - Friday demos (No weekends!)
Duration: 4-hour demos
Shift Times:
- 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Typically 1-6 demos per week on a weekly basis, with opportunities for double shifts. This is a regularly occurring schedule, and you will work at the same location for every shift.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain an appealing demonstration station within the store.
- Prepare and distribute samples of food products to highlight product offerings. Cooking skills are required for this task. Examples of dishes you may prepare include:
- Deep-frying chicken tenders
- Searing fish filets
- Burgers/Hot Sandwiches
- Smoothies
- And more!
- Engage with consumers to educate them on featured products, benefits, and ingredients, actively selling promoted products utilizing strong sales techniques.
- Comfortably discuss product suitability and application in professional kitchens with restaurant owners and chefs.
- Gather feedback from consumers and communicate it effectively to the appropriate teams.
