About This Role
We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our setup crew for the CCA Octoberfest event. This is a labor-intensive position focused on the physical setup of event infrastructure.
You will be responsible for assisting with the setup and breakdown of event infrastructure, including tents, trailers, signage, props, and furniture. This also involves loading and unloading trucks carrying event equipment and materials.
Candidates must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in varying weather conditions. The role requires the ability to use basic tools such as drills, hammers, and wrenches to assemble displays and secure equipment. You will follow instructions from the site manager or team lead to ensure efficient and safe setup, maintain a clean and organized work area, and support other team members with various setup-related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for at least 8 hours
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor climates
Schedule:
- Thursday, October 9th: 9am-1pm
- Saturday, October 11th: 4:30pm-8:30pm
Uniform: Black shirt, black pants, and comfortable shoes.
