Flow Wine Group is a full-service marketing company representing wine regions, importers, wineries, and craft distillers. We are seeking Part-Time/Occasional Wine Tasting Consultants for Vin De France.
This role involves conducting tasting events primarily in retail stores, as well as restaurants and festivals. You will operate as an independently contracted consultant, signing up for events based on your availability. We provide comprehensive training and educational materials to ensure your success in conducting in-store retail promotions and events. Your responsibilities will include explaining the wines and spirits we represent to consumers, demystifying products, driving sales, and enjoying the learning process!
This is an occasional part-time evening/weekend work opportunity with great pay. Please note: This position is not suitable for those seeking consistent full-time or part-time employment, as work will be available occasionally based on events in your area. This role requires Alcohol - Certified Alcohol - Off Premise certification.
Skills and attributes needed:
- An interest in and passion for wine & craft spirits
- Outgoing, friendly, and exceptional communication skills
- A good understanding of, or willingness to learn about, wine regions, varietals, and their characteristics
- Punctual, dependable, and polished in appearance
- Possession of a smartphone or tablet, internet access, and reliable transportation to carry setup materials
