Kellanova Mascot Character Activation

GTE Agency is seeking an enthusiastic Mascot and Handler Team (or individuals) to represent a high-profile brand as an iconic character. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for on-going promotional work.

Team members will engage with event attendees through meet & greets, potential participation in special activities/award ceremonies/presentations, and distributing promotional items like stickers and coupons. The ability to follow guidelines in a fast-paced environment, coupled with enthusiasm and positivity, is crucial.

Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, November 22nd
• Time: 9:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• Location: Walmart #2142, 326 N Broadway, Salem, NH 03079

Roles and Responsibilities:

Mascot - $30/hour
The Mascot will embody the iconic character, requiring:

• Height requirement: 5’7” - 6’0” to fit the costume.
• Ability to wear the full costume for the entire shift, including scheduled breaks.
• An outgoing personality with strong non-verbal communication and expressive gesturing.
• Comfortable with taking photos with event attendees.
• Adherence to all character guidelines: no speaking, always in full costume, use of approved poses and hand gestures only.
• Consistent communication with the Account Executive before and after the event.

Handler - $23/hour
The Handler acts as the Mascot's support, requiring:

• An outgoing personality with excellent verbal, people, and assertive engagement skills.
• Ability to interact positively with event attendees, generating excitement for the character and brand.
• Possession of a smartphone with reliable internet/service, sufficient data storage, screenshot, and GPS capabilities.
• Capture 20+ event photos and store them for 10 days.
• Email/text all event and recap photos to the Account Executive within 24 hours.
• Assist with successful costume return by either leaving the correctly repackaged costume at the store (no additional pay) or dropping off a UPS package at the end of the shift for a bonus.
• Maintain constant communication with the Account Executive, including geo-tagged check-in photos and regular updates.

Both team members must adhere to client guidelines, handling the iconic characters with care and respect.

Physical Requirements: Both team members must be able to stand for the full shift and lift 25 lbs for moving supply packages. Reliability is paramount; no-shows, last-minute cancellations, and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

Bonus Opportunity: Teams are encouraged to take the costume box directly to UPS following the event for a $15 bonus. This can be done by either the Mascot or the Handler.
