Plantain Chips Store Demo

We're seeking friendly, reliable, and sales-focused Brand Ambassadors to represent an exciting non-alcoholic beverage or food product at in-store demonstrations. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with customers and promote a heritage snack brand renowned for its delicious, crispy plantain chips.

This event will take place throughout the entire month of October. Shifts are scheduled for 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (4 hours). Compensation is $25/hr – $100 per demo.

As a Brand Ambassador, you will be the face of our heritage snack brand. Your responsibilities include setting up an inviting demo station with your own table and tablecloth, sampling product, and engaging with shoppers. Your primary goal is to encourage product trial, boost sales, and connect with various customer types:

• Flavor Explorers: Attract younger, adventurous snackers with high energy and excitement, emphasizing the unique taste profile.
• Comfort Cravers: Engage family-oriented, nostalgic shoppers by highlighting the brand's tradition and cultural roots.
• Clean Ingredient Families: Inform busy parents about the clean label and simple ingredients.

In preparation for your role, you will complete a short video interview and attend virtual live training. On-site, you will be required to wear a branded hat (provided). You are expected to arrive on time, maintain an organized demo station, and actively sample products while engaging customers to drive purchases. You will also communicate with the program lead during your shift and provide recap photos.

You are an ideal candidate if you are outgoing, responsible, and results-motivated. Prior experience in demonstrations, sales, or customer service is preferred. You should be well-spoken, reliable, and professional in a retail environment. The role requires the ability to stand for 4 hours and lift light materials.
