Plantain Chips Store Demo

We're looking for friendly, reliable, and sales-focused Brand Ambassadors to support an exciting in-store event at select Publix locations. If you're passionate about snacks, clean ingredients, and love engaging with people, this is a great opportunity to represent a heritage snack brand known for its delicious, crispy plantain chips. This role is for a Non-alcoholic Beverage or Food at Store Demo | Plantain Chips position. Locations available: Select Publix stores Event Date: Entire month of October Shift Time: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM (4 hours) Pay: $25/hr – $100 per demo As a Brand Ambassador, you’ll be the face of a heritage snack brand. Your responsibilities include setting up your own table and tablecloth to create an inviting display, sampling product, and engaging shoppers. Your goal is to encourage trial, boost sales, and connect with various types of shoppers:

• Flavor Explorers: Younger, adventurous snackers – engage with high energy and excitement, highlighting the unique taste (“You’ve got to try this — totally different from a potato chip!”).
• Comfort Cravers: Family-oriented, nostalgic shoppers – emphasize tradition and cultural roots (“These are the OG plantain chips, around since 1963”).
• Clean Ingredient Families: Busy parents – focus on the clean label and simple ingredients (“Just plantains, oil, and a pinch of salt — no junk”).

Your tasks will include:

• Completing a short video interview and attending virtual live training.
• Bringing your own table and tablecloth (required).
• Wearing a branded hat (provided).
• Arriving on time, setting up your demo station, and keeping it organized.
• Sampling product, engaging customers, and driving purchases.
• Staying in touch with the program lead during your shift and sending recap photos.

You’re a great fit if you:

• Are outgoing, responsible, and motivated by results.
• Have prior demo, sales, or customer service experience.
• Are well-spoken, reliable, and professional in-store.
• Can stand for 4 hours and lift light materials.
• Are a Required In Store Demonstrator.
