About This Role
We are seeking passionate, reliable, energetic, and experienced In-Store Demo Representatives to conduct engaging food demonstrations at wholesale restaurant supply stores nationwide. This role involves preparing, cooking, and sampling a variety of food products.
Our client is a well-known restaurant supply company serving professionals in the food service industry. As an In-Store Representative, you will introduce customers to new products and brands through cooking and non-cooking demonstrations. Your responsibilities will also include merchandising, building strong customer relationships, gathering valuable feedback, and driving sales.
Hourly pay is competitive and based on location, with all employees paid as W2. This is a regularly occurring schedule with opportunities for double shifts, offering a consistent work environment at the same location for every shift.
- Dates: March 2025 - Ongoing
- Days: Monday - Friday (No weekends)
- Duration: 4-hour demos
- Shift Times:
- 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- Schedule: 1-6 demos per week on a weekly basis
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain an appealing demo station within the store.
- Prepare and distribute samples of food products to highlight product offerings. Cooking skills are required for this task. Examples of dishes you may prepare include:
- Deep-frying chicken tenders
- Searing fish fillets
- Burgers/Hot Sandwiches
- Smoothies
- And more!
- Engage with consumers to educate them on featured products, benefits, and ingredients, actively selling promoted products utilizing strong sales techniques.
- Comfortably discuss product suitability and application in professional kitchens with restaurant owners and chefs.
- Gather feedback from consumers and communicate it effectively to the appropriate teams.
