Role Overview
WorkGenius is seeking polished and professional candidates to join our team as a retail activation specialist in Austin, TX. This role involves visiting various stores to assess and optimize merchandising, signage, inventory, and overall brand presence. You will have the flexibility to create your own routes each week from a provided list of stores, making this position both dynamic and rewarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store retailers and key stakeholders.
- Ensure product availability and proper shelf placement, including cold boxes and displays.
- Maximize brand presence through effective displays, signage, and point-of-sale materials.
- Maintain product freshness by adhering to proper rotation and compliance standards.
- Service a set route of approximately 10-15 accounts daily, adaptable based on market needs.
- Submit daily updates and maintain accurate records using CRM tools, such as Repsly.
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on retail execution and opportunities.
Job Requirements
Candidates should have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to clear a motor vehicle record (MVR). A flexible schedule, including weekends, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is also essential. Candidates should be self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently in diverse store environments.
This position offers approximately 25 to 40 hours of work per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing for approximately three months. Paid time during travel within reason enhances this opportunity. Compensation is $28 per hour, paid weekly via direct deposit on Fridays.
