About This Role
We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and hands-on Production Assistant / Brand Ambassador to support the Texas Department of Transportation’s “Be Safe. Drive Smart.” campaign. This hybrid role involves assisting with event setup and breakdown, as well as engaging with the public as a Brand Ambassador during high school football games across Texas.
The ideal candidate will thrive in both behind-the-scenes and front-of-house environments, contributing to the success of the Road Show trailer activation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setup & Breakdown Support: Arrive early to assist with unloading materials, setting up the Road Show trailer, organizing giveaway items, and ensuring the activation is ready for fans. After the event, assist with packing up, tearing down displays, and loading equipment.
- Event Engagement: Transition into a Brand Ambassador role, greeting attendees, driving traffic to the trailer, and encouraging participation in interactive activities such as quizzes, VR games, and video displays.
- Campaign Messaging: Share key information about TxDOT’s “Be Safe. Drive Smart.” campaign, educating guests on the importance of safe driving practices in energy production regions.
- Data Collection: Collect surveys via iPad and report interaction counts to the Outreach Manager.
- Organization: Maintain an organized event space throughout the activation.
This event will take place in Big Spring, TX 79720 on October 31, from 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM. The pay rate for this position is $30.00/hr.
Responsibilities
- • Arrive early to assist the client with unloading materials, setting up the Road Show trailer, organizing giveaway items, and making sure the activation is ready before fans arrive.
- • After the event, help with packing up, tearing down displays, and loading equipment.
- • Once the event kicks off, shift into Brand Ambassador mode, greet attendees, drive traffic to the trailer, and encourage participation in activities such as quizzes, VR games, and video displays.
