About This Role
Karma Casting is partnering with WS Development to bring holiday magic to the Seaport! We are seeking enthusiastic individuals for a Brand Ambassador | N/A position to support our "Betty the Yeti" Mascot.
This role involves bringing Betty the Yeti to life at a series of winter events. We are hiring one Mascot performer to appear as “Betty the Yeti” and one Brand Ambassador handler to support the character.
The Mascot will be the face (and fur!) of Betty the Yeti, delighting families, posing for photos, and spreading holiday cheer. The Brand Ambassador/Handler will support the Mascot by managing crowd flow, assisting with costume needs, and sharing the “lore” of Betty with guests, as the character will be non-verbal.
Ideally, the same Mascot and Brand Ambassador will cover all event dates, but partial availability will be considered.

- December 5, 2025 | 4:45 PM – 8:15 PM

- January 11, 2026 | 11:45 AM – 3:15 PM
- January 25, 2026 | 11:45 AM – 3:15 PM

Each shift includes 15 minutes before and after for prep and breakdown.
Talent Requirements:
Mascot (Betty the Yeti)
- Height: 5’8”–5’11”, slimmer build to fit costume
- Previous mascot/character experience preferred
- Outgoing, animated, and comfortable in costume for extended periods
- Available for fitting (paid 3 hours in advance of the first event)
Brand Ambassador (Handler)
- Outgoing, engaging, and friendly
- Strong communication skills to articulate Betty’s “lore” to guests
- Able to manage crowds, assist with mascot needs, and maintain a fun and positive energy
- Professional appearance; no visible tattoos/facial piercings during events
- Comfortable with kids and family-friendly environments
Uniform:
- Mascot: Costume provided by client
- Brand Ambassador: Client shirt provided (seasonal attire TBD). Additional layers should be clean and neutral.
Other Details:
- Parking: TBD, reimbursed with receipt if paid parking is required
