Brightspeed Internet Mascot Tour

EventLink is seeking a Brand Ambassador - Handler for an upcoming Brightspeed event. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to support our mascot and ensure a successful event activation.

This is a temporary position for the Day Brightener Tour, representing Brightspeed Internet.

The rate for this position is $27/hour.

The event will take place on October 9, from 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM at La Calle 8 Café, 214 S 8th Street, Columbia MO 65201.

Responsibilities for the Mascot Handler include:

• Assisting the mascot, Ray, with getting in and out of costume.
• Guiding Ray throughout the day.
• Ensuring Ray takes scheduled breaks.
• Taking photos with consumers, ensuring Ray is looking towards the camera.
• Helping to ensure children interact gently with Ray.
• Performing other designated tasks as needed.
• Sending a photo to the Account Coordinator for costume likeness approval once Ray is dressed and before the event starts, ensuring Ray’s glasses are properly positioned.
