Join our team as a Hybrid Field Sales Manager (FSM) and become a trusted advisor for retail partners and customers. This role, reporting to the Regional Manager, emphasizes building strong relationships within Best Buy and potentially other retail locations across your assigned territory (Wednesday-Sunday schedule).
You will play a vital role in driving sales growth by training and motivating retail staff, engaging directly with customers to gather critical feedback, and collaborating with store management to implement effective sales and merchandising strategies. Day-in-the-Life as a Hybrid Field Sales Manager:
- Plan and Prioritize: Begin the day by reviewing the schedule for store visits and prioritizing key accounts and activities based on sales goals and promotional priorities. This may involve route planning to optimize travel efficiency.
- Execute In-Store Visits: Travel to assigned Best Buy (and potentially other retail) locations within the territory, engaging directly with customers on the sales floor, providing product recommendations, and utilizing the Best Buy POS system to facilitate sales.
- Build Relationships & Train Staff: Connect with store management and sales associates to build rapport, provide product training on the latest Intel technologies, and address any questions or concerns. Drive engagement with the Intel Retail Edge program, encouraging associate registrations and training completions.
- Merchandising & On-Site Assessment: Evaluate product displays, ensuring they are clean, functional, and adhere to brand standards. Assess on-site needs for marketing materials and promotional collateral and identify opportunities to improve product visibility and presentation.
- Reporting & Communication: Accurately document store visit activities, sales data, customer feedback, and relevant observations. Communicate key insights and recommendations to the Regional Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
