Brightspeed Internet Mascot Tour Activation

EventLink is seeking a dedicated Handler to support our Brightspeed Internet mascot during an upcoming event. This role involves close collaboration with the mascot to ensure a successful and engaging brand activation.

Event Details:

• Event: The Day Brightener Tour
• Brand: Brightspeed Internet
• Date: October 17
• Hours: 5:00 PM - 9:30 PM
• Location: Turner Stadium, 1700 Wilson Rd, Humble TX 77396
• Rate: $27/hr

Job Function:

The Handler for Ray, the Brightspeed Mascot, is responsible for providing comprehensive assistance throughout the event. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the mascot with costume changes (getting in and out).
• Guiding Ray while moving around the event area.
• Ensuring Ray takes scheduled breaks.
• Facilitating photo opportunities with consumers, ensuring Ray is looking towards the camera.
• Helping to ensure children interact gently with Ray.
• Performing other designated tasks as needed.

Prior to the event start, and once Ray is in costume, the Handler will send a photo to the Account Coordinator for approval of all costume likeness requirements, ensuring Ray’s glasses are properly positioned.

• Possesses a positive attitude and the ability to generate excitement.
• Punctuality is mandatory.
• Availability to work flexible hours.
• Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with children and fellow staff members during events.
• Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
• Required Brand Ambassador experience.
