Brightspeed Mascot Tour Activation

EventLink is seeking a dedicated Mascot/Costume Handler to support our Brightspeed event. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist our mascot, Ray, during the “The Day Brightener Tour”.

As the handler for the Brightspeed Mascot, Ray, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and engaging experience. Your general responsibilities will include:

• Assisting Ray with getting in and out of the costume.
• Guiding Ray while walking around the event area.
• Ensuring Ray takes scheduled breaks.
• Facilitating photo opportunities with consumers, ensuring Ray looks towards the camera.
• Helping to ensure children interact gently with Ray.
• Performing other designated tasks as needed.

Prior to the event start time, once Ray is dressed, the handler will be required to send a photo to the Account Coordinator for approval of all costume likeness requirements, including confirming Ray’s glasses are properly positioned.

Compensation: $27 per hour

Event Date: October 18

Hours: 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Location: Kids in the Park, 308 East Main Street, Humble, TX

We are looking for candidates who embody the following skills and traits:

• A positive attitude and the ability to drive excitement.
• Punctuality is mandatory.
• Availability to work flexible hours.
• Ability to work well with children and fellow staff members.
• Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
