Brightspeed Mascot Tour Activation

EventLink is activating an event near you for Brightspeed Internet's "The Day Brightener Tour." We are hiring for a Handler position to assist our mascot.

Handler Rate: $27/hr
Date: October 18
Hours: 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM
Location: Kids in the Park, 308 East Main Street, Humble, TX

Job Function:
The handler for the Brightspeed Mascot, Ray, is responsible for assisting Ray throughout the day. General responsibilities include:

• Assisting the mascot in getting in and out of costume.
• Guiding Ray while walking around.
• Ensuring Ray takes breaks.
• Taking photos with consumers and looking in the direction of the camera.
• Helping ensure children are gentle with Ray.
• Other designated tasks.

Once Ray is dressed and in advance of the event start time, the handler will send a photo to the Account Coordinator for approval of all likeness of costume requirements. Don’t forget to make sure Ray’s glasses are on properly.

Skills, Traits, Qualifications:

• Positive attitude and capable of driving excitement.
• Punctuality is mandatory.
• Availability to work flexible hours.
• Works well with children and fellow staff members at any event.
• Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
