Brightspeed "Ray" Mascot Appearance

EventLink is seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to embody "Ray," the Brightspeed Internet troll mascot, for an upcoming event in Humble, TX. This is an exciting opportunity to represent a prominent brand and engage with the community.

This mascot position offers a pay rate of $65/hour. The event is scheduled for October 18, from 10:30 AM - 2:30 PM, at Kids in the Park, located at 308 East Main Street, Humble, TX. Please note, Ray will be compensated for a minimum of four hours of work, regardless of the event's duration. A dedicated mascot handler will be provided for the entire event.

As "Ray," your primary function will be to represent the Brightspeed Internet brand at community and consumer events, as directed by local marketing teams. You will interact with consumers and pose for photos with fans. While this is a non-speaking role, adherence to specific character mannerisms, as outlined in the "Ray Manual," is essential to convey the brand's core values. It is imperative to maintain Ray's identity without deviation, ensuring proper body language, mannerisms, attitude, and fan interaction. You will also be responsible for ensuring your glasses and costume are worn correctly and that you are looking at the camera for photos.

Qualifications:

• Due to costume restrictions, candidates must be between 5'9" and 6'0" tall with a maximum 32" waist.
• Must be comfortable wearing a costume for extended periods, including the confined space of the mascot head.
• Punctuality is mandatory.
• Availability to work flexible hours.
• Ability to work effectively with children and event staff.
• Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
