Brightspeed Ray Mascot Tour

EventLink is seeking a dedicated Handler for an upcoming Brightspeed event. This role involves assisting our mascot, Ray, during the "Day Brightener Tour" for Brightspeed Internet. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to help create a memorable experience for event attendees.

This is a temporary position with a pay rate of $27/hr, scheduled for October 8th, from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM. The event will be held at Towne Grill, 315 Jefferson Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101.

As the Handler, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support Ray, the Brightspeed Mascot. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the mascot with costume changes.
• Guiding Ray safely throughout the event area.
• Ensuring Ray takes scheduled breaks.
• Facilitating photo opportunities with consumers, ensuring proper camera engagement.
• Helping children interact gently with Ray.
• Performing other designated tasks as needed.

Prior to the event, once Ray is in costume, you will be required to send a photo to the Account Coordinator for approval to ensure all likeness and costume requirements are met, including making sure Ray’s glasses are properly positioned.

This position reports to the Brand Ambassador Manager.
