About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and engaging Sales Representative for Backyard Sheds. This is a short-term, high-impact role where you will demonstrate products, engage shoppers, and drive sales. There may be downtime between events, depending on scheduling and brand needs, making this ideal for individuals seeking flexible, event-based work with potential for ongoing assignments.

The company is Backyard Shed, parent company to Gorilla Shed. The duration of this assignment is 10 days, starting 10/10 and concluding on 10/19.

Hours:

  • Monday-Friday: 09:00 AM - 08:30 PM
  • Saturday: 09:00 AM - 07:00 PM
  • Sunday: 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Location: Costco – 2680 Reynolds Ranch Pkwy, Lodi CA

Training: A 1-hour virtual session will be conducted on the Thursday prior to the event start date.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain a designated display, kiosk, or demo station within retail stores.
  • Arrange products attractively to engage customers and ensure all promotional materials, signage, and samples are properly displayed.
  • Approach and engage customers in a friendly and inviting manner to promote and sell products.
  • Provide compelling demonstrations and clearly explain key features and benefits.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Utilize company-required applications and digital tools, including Vision App, for accurate timekeeping and sales reporting.
  • Accurately log sales activity, customer engagement, and inventory usage using designated mobile applications or reporting tools in real time.
  • Adhere to all store-specific and T-ROC safety, conduct, and hygiene protocols during events, including proper handling of promotional materials and displays.
  • Monitor, transport, and maintain promotional inventory, ensuring items are secure, clean, and replenished as needed for each event.
