About This Role
HP and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire a HP Territory Retail Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for visiting 1 - 4 stores per day based on need, effectively driving and increasing sales by training retail associates on HP products, and creating excitement around the HP brand. As an HP Representative, you will increase brand awareness and retail presence through store displays, product placement, and by building rapport within your territory to position HP front and center within the retail environment.
A typical day involves:
- Demonstrating HP products to store management, staff, and customers at retailers in your assigned territory
- Increasing sales and product awareness through training and hands-on consumer-facing activities
- Achieving and maintaining program KPIs on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Building rapport within your territory at each retailer with store management and staff
- Scheduling and facilitating sales and product trainings
- Assessing and communicating needs such as marketing material and promotional collateral
- Assessing customer needs and making product recommendations applicable to their everyday life
- Documenting and reporting sales, schedules, activities, and best practices
- Collecting customer feedback and providing insight and recommendations
- Setting and maintaining brand merchandising in retail locations and ensuring all brand standards are followed
- Coaching and mentoring part-time co-workers
- Managing a territory of stores independently with minimal oversight
