Reporting to the Regional Manager, this role focuses on building strong relationships within Best Buy and potentially other retail locations across your assigned territory. You will play a vital role in driving sales growth by training and motivating retail staff, engaging directly with customers to gather critical feedback, and collaborating with store management to implement effective sales and merchandising strategies. A typical "day in the life" as a Hybrid Field Sales Manager includes:
- Plan and Prioritize: Reviewing the schedule for store visits and prioritizing key accounts and activities based on sales goals and promotional priorities. This may involve route planning to optimize travel efficiency.
- Execute In-Store Visits: Traveling to assigned Best Buy (and potentially other retail) locations within the territory, engaging directly with customers on the sales floor, providing product recommendations, and utilizing the Best Buy POS system to facilitate sales.
- Build Relationships & Train Staff: Connecting with store management and sales associates to build rapport, provide product training on the latest Intel technologies, and address any questions or concerns. Drive engagement with the Intel Retail Edge program, encouraging associate registrations and training completions.
- Merchandising & On-Site Assessment: Evaluating product displays, ensuring they are clean, functional, and adhere to brand standards. Assessing on-site needs for marketing materials and promotional collateral and identifying opportunities to improve product visibility and presentation.
- Reporting & Communication: Accurately documenting store visit activities, sales data, customer feedback, and relevant observations. Communicating key insights and recommendations to the Regional Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
