About This Role

The Twin Cities Road Crew is seeking dynamic Emcee performers for 2025-2026 school assemblies. This is a flexible, ongoing, part-time independent contractor position, ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with others and bringing smiles to children's faces. Assemblies will be conducted at schools within the Twin Cities metro area, focusing on themes such as Recycling, Conservation, Safety, and Financial Literacy.

We are looking for individuals who embody the following qualities:

  • Dance experience: Our assemblies involve dancing and interacting with students.

While performance or on-mic experience is valued, we also encourage applicants with the right personality and self-awareness to apply. Our greatest need is for lead hosts who can confidently engage an audience and support the crew. BIPOC individuals are strongly encouraged to apply, as promoting diversity within our crew is a priority.

Experience with children, dance, and performance is a plus, but not strictly required. A personal vehicle is essential, as our location is not accessible via public transit.
