About This Role
The Field Activations Market Manager for Metro NYC is responsible for overseeing field execution across New York City and its surrounding boroughs. This role ensures timely and accurate execution of all scheduled activations, sampling events, retail demonstrations, and Brand Ambassador management.
The Field Activations Market Manager supports multiple clients and collaborates closely with internal program leads to maintain high-quality field performance.
- Manage Brand Ambassadors across the NYC market.
- Oversee market scheduling, coverage, and performance standards.
- Support the execution of demos, sampling events, and retail activations.
- Ensure compliance with local laws related to alcohol sampling, when applicable.
- Maintain relationships with key retailers and distributor partners.
- Track weekly KPIs, recaps, and sampling metrics.
- Provide training, coaching, and performance management for field staff.
- Troubleshoot on-site issues and escalate when needed.
- Manage inventory and assets for the NYC market.
Requirements
- Prior field management or market-level leadership experience.
- Experience in experiential, sampling, retail, or field marketing.
- Strong communication and team management skills.
- Reliable transportation throughout New York City.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, or event schedules when required.
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines and shifting event needs.
