About This Role
Purslane is hiring experienced and talented Bartenders to join an exciting series of Halloween Parties. This immersive nightlife production will be staged across four distinct nights, each offering a unique flavor. Over 250 artists, performers, and musicians are coming together to create an unparalleled experience.
These will be exciting, high-volume events with expensive tickets and VIPs. High gratuity is expected in addition to the hourly rate. The hourly rate is not yet finalized, but client contracts will be signed soon, and the rate will be solidified then. You are guaranteed to know your hourly rate at the time of your hiring!
Event Dates:
- Friday, October 24th
- Saturday, October 25th
- Friday, October 31st
- Saturday, November 1st
Event Hours: 8 PM - 5 AM
Guest Count: 3,000 per night
Number of Bars: 6 (4 general + 2 VIP)
Requirements:
- Must have experience as a bartender working in high-volume club settings
- Must be capable of standing for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs comfortably
- Must be able to speak and understand English fluently
All staff require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Must be 18 years or older and eligible for employment in the state of New York. Purslane is a W2 Employer, and pay is provided weekly. Required uniform: TBD.
