Job Overview
We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our setup crew for the CCA Octoberfest event. This labor-intensive position entails the physical setup of event infrastructure, including tents, trailers, props, and other materials. Staff must be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, and be prepared for varying weather conditions while lifting and moving heavy items.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of event infrastructure such as tents, trailers, signage, props, and furniture.
- Load and unload trucks carrying event equipment and materials.
- Utilize basic tools (e.g., drills, hammers, wrenches) to assemble displays and secure equipment.
- Follow instructions from the site manager or team lead to ensure efficient and safe setup.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area during setup and teardown.
- Support other team members with various setup-related tasks as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for at least 8 hours in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Schedule
- Thursday, October 9th: 9am-1pm
- Saturday, October 11th: 4:30pm-8:30pm
Uniform
- Dress code includes a black shirt, black pants, and comfortable shoes.
